How it works

Scan
EthrHunt needs your location. The game maps where you stand to a small patch of the world, about 150 metres across, and rolls what that patch holds this hour.

Discover
Something is there, or nothing is. Found an item? You choose: pick it up or leave it behind for someone else.

Hunt
Some items come in pieces. Grab the first part and the others turn up 300 metres to 2 kilometres away, with a compass and a rough distance to guide you.

Wear and compare
Everything you collect can be worn. Dress your avatar, climb the leaderboard and peek at other hunters' outfits.
Five rarities, one big wardrobe
Every item is written by an AI, so you never know what you will meet. A jumper that holds the warmth of a bakery window. A brass hummingbird with ticking wings.

Eight slots to fill
Head, face, neck, body, back, hand, feet and a companion. Mix and match, flip your avatar around, and your outfit follows you to any device.
Leaderboard
Every pickup counts. See where you rank, scroll up to the leaders or down to the newcomers, and tap any hunter to see their avatar.
Install it
EthrHunt is a progressive web app: open it, tap "Install" or "Add to Home Screen", and it launches full screen like any other app.
Your location, handled with care
Items hide in real places, so EthrHunt needs to know roughly where you are, and only when you scan. The game turns your position into a coarse map cell on the server and we never store your exact coordinates. You sign in with Google so your collection follows you from device to device.
